I had high hopes when I brought in Metronet. I bought into the hype about better service, speed, etc. My 2 Gig service is terrible; download speeds are maybe 100 Mbps, should be closer to 240 I'd think. I knew their Eero stuff was incompatible with Linksys but was told their nodes would cover my 4000+ s/ft house. No, it doesn't. Here lately, the connection just drops in and out for minutes at a time. Now I want to drop them, and the cancellation process is almost designed to make you just say the hell with it and keep them... Glad now I kept my Spectrum service active.

The only way to cancel service is to call and then they send you a packaging label from FedEx. They won't stop charging you until they receive the equipment, so I am being charged for internet service for however long it takes them to receive and process it. Also, the return process is broken. The email links you to a FedEx page that that says you can take it into their partnered locations and they will ship it for free. I put in my zip code and it said to go to Kohls..... I went to Khols and they said they can't take it becuase the their system doesn't accept that QR code. So I took it to the CVS with a FedEx site in it. They couldn't take it because they couldn't package it. So I had to go to a Pack And Ship and they charged me $10 to send their router to them. What a joke of a process this has been.

It's impossible to return the equipment without a 4-hour customer service phone telethon. Ridiculous. So glad I switched to Brightspeed Fiber for half the price and twice the feed.

I don't know what is wrong with the process of burying the fiber line , but these folks is the absolute worst.called multiple times and I no shows and lies. My Cable still isn't buried since March and its now Sept 3rd. It's time to drop this company.
